⚠️ Fraud Alert: Stay Alert to Digital Banking Phone Scams

We are aware of scam attempts involving fraudsters impersonating banks by phone or text. In some cases, scammers may spoof caller ID to make it appear as though the call is coming from our bank. These individuals often create a sense of urgency, claiming there is an issue with your account and asking you to confirm credentials or provide a one-time security code.

These communications are fraudulent.

Please be assured that American National Bank Fox Cities has not experienced a data breach, and your information has not been compromised through our systems. Scammers often rely on publicly available information and social engineering techniques to sound legitimate. Staying cautious is critical.

American National Bank Fox Cities Will NEVER:

  • Ask for your online banking username or password
  • Request a one-time passcode for a transaction you did not initiate
  • Send unsolicited links asking you to verify your identity
  • Ask for your debit card PIN or full card number over the phone

Sharing this information—even if the request sounds legitimate—can give criminals complete access to your account and may result in significant financial loss.

If You Receive a Suspicious Call or Message:

  • Do not provide any information
  • Hang up immediately
  • Call us directly using the phone number listed on our website or your statement

Our team will never be offended if you hang up and call us back—scammers will be.

Your awareness plays a vital role in protecting your accounts and financial security. Thank you for staying vigilant.
